OhmConnect + Nest Is The New Dream Team

OhmConnect now is an official “Works with Nest” partner, which means connecting your Nest thermostat with OhmConnect has never been easier or more rewarding.

What a week we’ve been having here at OhmConnect!

After listening to your thoughts and feedback, we’ve been working closely with the team at Nest  to ensure the process of connecting a Nest thermostat to your OhmConnect account is sleeker, easier and more secure than ever before.

Now that OhmConnect is an official “Works with Nest” product, it means that when you connect a Nest thermostat with your OhmConnect account, your smart thermostat will automatically go into Eco Temperatures  during #OhmHours (instead of turning off completely) to ensure your experience is more automated, delightful and rewarding!

Important notice for current Nest & OhmConnect customers!

You might be wondering … “but what happens if I’ve already connected a Nest thermostat to my OhmConnect account?” And that’s a great question.

If you have already connected a Nest thermostat to your OhmConnect account, you need to reauthorize it in order for the device to automatically adjust during upcoming #OhmHours.

It only takes about 10 seconds to reauthorize the OhmConnect and Nest connection and this must be completed before September 9 to ensure your #OhmHour performance (and streak!) is not affected.

Don’t already have a Nest thermostat? Up to $150 in rebates & OhmConnect points are now available!

There’s never been a better time to get in on the smart home action with a Nest thermostat.

Some reasons why you might want to consider upgrading your outdated thermostat to a newer, smarter model:

  1. OhmConnect users with a connected thermostat save more than twice as much, on average, compared to users without a connected thermostat.

2) This is on top of the 5-10% savings on your heating and cooling bill for upgrading to a smart thermostat - an average savings of $131 to $145 per year!

With up to $100 in rebates available from PG&E, SCE and SDG&E, plus a new promotional offer from OhmConnect of 5000 points ($50), you can now get a Nest Thermostat E for as little as $19 (after utility rebates and points, compared to the retail price of $169).

This offer is available to OhmConnect Silver, Gold or Platinum users who purchase a thermostat through the OhmConnect Store and connect it to their OhmConnect account before December 31, 2018.  Check out all the details on our store.
