Win $100 Cash in This Week’s Prize OhmHour!

If you’ve been an OhmConnect user since at least the Summer, you know that the hot months of Summer are the BEST time to earn money for saving energy. Demand on the electricity grid is at its peak (helllooooo air conditioners!) and the need to reduce is higher than ever.

Because of this demand, Summer is when utility companies are willing to pay OhmConnect and our community for our collective reductions. Which is awesome!

But it means that winter months are a bit quieter, and with no payments coming in from the utilities, fewer points we can give out to our users.

One comment we’ve heard loud and clear from our users when we asked for your feedback on Prize #OhmHours: “We want more chances to earn for energy savings, even in the winter!”

And we want to make that happen.

This Prize #OhmHour, 50 users will take home $100 cash each if their name is selected as a winner during the April 5th Facebook Live broadcast of Power In Numbers.

There are a few ways you can qualify for this week’s prize! You can either:

1. Keep an eye out for #OhmHour notifications you receive over the next two weeks. If you spot a Prize #OhmHour in your inbox, take a close look at the goal set for you. (They will something along the lines of "use 1 kWh or less." These targets are tailored to your own personal energy use, so everyone has an equal chance of hitting the goal.) If you achieve your goal, you will be put in the pool of others who did the same and names will be randomly selected as the reward recipients, OR

2. Refer a new user to OhmConnect using your unique referral code. If they get to Silver Status and save energy during the qualification period, you’re in! OR

3. Have a smart device (like a Wifi thermostat or smart plug) connected to your OhmConnect account during the Prize #OhmHour for instant eligibility!
